Must try camping cocktails

Who says cocktails and camping don't go together! There's something so gratifying about sitting back in the camp chair, enjoying the sunset over a cocktail or two, the only challenge is having a plethora of ingredients.

We've compiled a list of refreshing summery cocktails, that have all the flavour, without the hassle, so relax and have one on us!

Tip 1: If you don't have a shaker, try improvising with a travel mug and cover the sippy hole, or, at the risk of offending James Bond, just give it a good stir..

Tip 2: if you have a camp fridge and not an esky with ice, pack a Tupperware container full of ice from home and put in the bottom of your fridge, we do and it usually lasts a few days.

Piña Colada

- Pineapple juice

- Coconut cream

- Coconut rum

- Pineapple to garnish.

Combine 2 shot coconut rum, 4 shot pineapple juice, and 1 shot coconut cream into a shaker with ice. Shake, pour, and garnish with a slice of pineapple.

Bubbly piña colada

- Coconut rum

- Pineapple juice

- Coconut cream

- Sparkling wine

- Slice of pineapple for garnish

Add 2 shots coconut rum, 1 shot pineapple juice and 1 shot coconut cream to shaker and shake to mix. Top up with sparkling wine and top with a slice of pineapple.

Malibu Fizz

- Coconut rum

- Lime juice

- Cranberry juice

- Sparkling wine

Pour over ice 1 shot coconut rum, 1 shot lime juice, and 1 shot cranberry juice to glass. Top up with sparkling wine.

Under the boardwalk

- Coconut rum

- spiced rum

- lime juice

- pineapple juice

- orange slice

Shake together 1 shot Coconut rum, 1 shot Spiced Rum, 1 shot lime juice, and 2 shot pineapple juice. Garnish with an orange slice.

Heaven on Earth

- coconut rum

- pineapple juice

- soda

Combine 2 shot coconut rum, 2 shot pineapple juice, and 2 shot soda in an ice-filled glass, and stir together. Garnish with pineapple or mint.

Splice

- melon Liqueur (midori)

- Malibu

- Pineapple juice

- Cream or coconut cream

Pour in order over ice 1 shot melon liqueur, 1 shot Malibu, fill glass with pineapple juice and top with cream.

Dark & Stormy

- Vodka

- Ginger beer

- Lime

Pour 1 shot Vodka, 1 shot lime juice over ice, top up with ginger beer and garnish with lime.

Moscow mule

- Vodka

- Ginger beer

Pour 1 shot Vodka over ice and top up with ginger beer.

Screwdriver

- Vodka

- Orange juice

- Orange slice to garnish.

Pour 1 shot Vodka over ice and top up with orange juice and garnish with an orange slice

The Madras

- Vodka

- Cranberry juice

- Orange juice

- Lime

Pour 1 shot vodka, 1 shot cranberry juice over ice, top up with orange juice and garnish with a lime wedge.

Pearl Harbour

- Vodka

- Melon liqueur (midori)

- Pineapple juice

- Maraschino cherry to garnish

- Pineapple to garnish

- Lemon to garnish

Pour in order over ice, 1 shot vodka, 1 shot melon liqueur, top up with pineapple juice and garnish with cherry’s, pineapple and lemon.
