Closest town: 23Km away is the township of Batemans Bay. There you can find a grocery store and petrol stations for any supplys you may need.
Things to do: There are some pleasent walking trails right from this camp ground, and more a short drive away. The Pretty Beach to snake bay walking track is worth walking 8KM one way, but there are shorter sections to try as well. The beach you are right on top of is very beautiful, but the really memorable part is the kangaroos on the sand. They are very friendly and you can easily take great photos sitting with them.
Other things to note: It is very popular so booking ahead is recommended, especially in peak season, you will not get a campsite if you just turn up in summer holidays. You can book a site through the national parks website.
Please note that while the animals are friendly they are still wild and are unpredictable, and we never encourage the feeding of animals.
